Centex Heat Pump Install

Centex showed up on time, employees were very courteous, they were all well groomed and looked professional, time was taken to explain the system/parts, work areas were clean when they left, and one employee even took the time and initiative to fix the chain on my daughters bike before he left! Very happy with the system they installed so far. Head and shoulders better than the old system I had, which Centex installed in 2001. That system lasted 16 years, so hoping this one gives the same service life or better.

High quality all the way around - people, product, installation. I needed a quick replacement of the HVAC unit in a rental house. Centex Mechanical came out to inspect the existing unit (10 year old unit which was nothing but trouble from the day it was installed by another vendor). The technician explained the issues and suggested replacement options. Centex provided a great set of bids and I scheduled the install. Iban, Terrick and Julian showed up at 8:00am as scheduled and went right to work removing the old unit, pulling new control wiring and installing the new equipment. Everything was up and running by 2:00 in the afternoon.

Found a bad voltage enhancement system. Client went with the HN4A for repairs. AC system is operating at manufacture specifications at this time.
Performed cooling maintenance evaluation on both air conditioning systems. The air conditioning systems are operating at manufacture specifications at this time. Let client know that we will let them know that we will email them when their winter maintenance is due on their HVAC system.
I found that the 21 year old Goodman air conditioning system has a bad indoor blower motor in it causing the AC system to freeze up. Client is aware that the system needs to be replaced but wanted a quote on the replacement of the fan. I have a quote in the system and it is for the blower motor but that's if nothing else is wrong with the blower wheel. It felt like it was hitting the casing. I could not get the model and serial numbers off of the AC system. 3 speed 1075 rpm 3/4 motor with belly band
Performed cooling evaluation on system and AC is operating at manufacturing specifications at this time.
Found a bad indoor air circulation system on the upstairs air conditioning system. I spoke with the client about his different options and he chose the hc13c. I will have Dillion order the parts. Motor, circuit board, surge protection. In an attic 1 person about an hour and half. Came back and replaced the circuit board, motor, wiring harness and added surge protection. After we were done with the repairs I tested the system to make sure it was operating properly.
We recovered the old refrigerant in the hvac system , removed coil and pan, replaced with new ones and cleaned the indoor system. I also flushed line set, installed new filter drier, pressure tested and vacuumed to 500 microns. I then recharged the system with 7 pounds of r410a. System is now operating properly.
I performed the cooling evaluation and found the air conditioning system is operating properly at this time.
Performed cooling evaluation on system and AC is operating at manufacture specifications at this time
Performed cooling evaluation on system and A/C is operating at manufacture specifications at this time.
I found that the top of the outdoor hvac system broke and dropped the motor and blade causing the blade to hit the coil and break the blade. I checked for leaks on the outdoor coil and didn’t find any. I then tried to get together a quote for the repair but Lennox told me that they do not make the top panel anymore. I had our parts guy check our Inventory at the shop and we did not have one. I spoke with the client about the situation and he’s just gonna wait on his home warranty company to see what they are gonna do.
Upon arrival found the voltage enhancement system low, talked to client about options and they went with HN5C at this time, gave a part warranty credit.
